What is a total-loss inventory?

It's the itemized schedule of contents that can't be economically restored — each item photographed, described, and valued so the carrier can pay replacement cost or actual cash value. It's a separate document from the restorable-contents inventory.

Do you value the items, or just list them?

We capture everything a valuation needs — description, age, condition, brand, photos — and provide category-level pricing through industry databases. Final settled values are between you and your carrier, but our documentation is what makes that conversation short.

What is Xactimate, and why does it matter for my claim?

Xactimate is the estimating platform most U.S. insurers use to price claims. When your contents inventory arrives already formatted for it, the adjuster doesn't have to translate your list — which means fewer delays and fewer disputed line items.

Can you do an inventory if the pack-out already happened?

Yes. We regularly inventory contents already in storage, or document total losses in place — including post-wildfire losses where items can't be moved at all.

We do that work for you, professionally: every item photographed, described, counted, and valued in a format your carrier accepts. The inventory is yours, and it usually pays for itself in items you'd have forgotten to claim.

If this is your claim file

Self-prepared contents lists are the slowest document in the file. We deliver structured inventories — depreciable categories, quantities, condition, photo reference per line — that map to Xactimate without re-keying, plus a separate non-salvageable schedule for total-loss processing.

Deliver the schedules
